Thank you for these lovely pictures. What are the long-necked birds I have seen in flocks flying early morning & late at night (squawking as they fly) this February (2017) on Prickly Pear Island, while moored off Saba Rock. They look very much like herons & egrets, both which the BVI has, BUT they fly with necks extended, which apparently herons and egrets don't do! Cranes fly thus but I see no site saying cranes are present in the BVI. Any ideas?
