After having a difficult time finding a place to stay in Coron, a review on tripadvisor.com led me to Amphibi-ko		 At the moment, Amphibi-ko has only 2 guestrooms in a traditional nipa-style hut

My bf and i visited Coron just this April and chanced upon this very nice accommodation there. We are very lucky to have found this guesthouse because the location is just perfect. It is situated right in Coron town near the market but not too close to it (unlike the many guesthouses there where I'm sure suffers a lot of noise and can be... smelly?!). Anyway, all in all our stay in Amphibi-ko was top-rated. The beddings are clean, they provide complimentary toiletries, the staff were very attentive and accommodating. They even helped us get discounts for boat and tricyle rentals. The food was great. And eventhough there's no airconditioning, it still was a convenient stay for us all in all. We will definitely be back there again. We might try staying in one of their guesthouses in the middle of the sea or the one in the island...Amphibi-ko was definitely worth our budget! ----> Karen
